UFO Sighting in Ellensburg, Washington on November 2nd 1980 – It came over the top of our camp and scared us.

We were on the Menastash Ridge Elk hunting in our open camp (no tent or camper) when my husband was howling at the coyotes and they were answering back. All of a sudden it got really quiet then we saw this UFO above the trees. It came over very slowly and quietly with lights around the underside. It was so big it blocked out all the stars and got really dark. We got so scared, we jumped into the front of our truck, rolled coats up in the windows, locked the doors and that's pretty much all we remember until we woke up the next morning after daylight. Neither one of us remember going to sleep or dreaming. After being together for about 1 1/2 years without birth control, I ended up pregnant on that hunting trip and had a wonderful, healthy boy exactly 9 months later. I was shocked when I found out I was pregnant. We both would be very interested in hypnotism to see if anything happened between the time we got in the truck to the time we woke up. It's pretty much haunted us since. We never reported it because we were pretty sure people would think we were off our nut, but have talked about it to family and friends over the years. Have there been any other reported sightings in that area in 1980?
