We were remolding a house in the woods west of Fort Stewart Ga, near Glenville, that no one had lived in for years. No others in the area. During the night we were woke up by lights and military jeeps in the woods. We went out side. The first jeep I saw was behind the house heading north slowly. Another come down the two track road in front of the house. Since the house had been empty for so long and there was no power, I assumed they thought it was still empty and never noticed us. The next thing we noticed was military helicopters. Then we could see they were escorting something moving real slow. At first we were speculating from the shape it was a plane. But it was moving way to slow. It would of lost lift moving that slow and was huge. It got closer and went right over the top of us. It blocked out all the light from the sky for a minute or so. It was at least as big as football field. It had no lights and made no sound. Several minutes after it was past a couple more jeeps past by. I ask folks that I knew on post and no one new anything. I told a local man that knew the post commander and he claimed he knew nothing.
