Alien Encounter in Calgary, Alberta on April 30th 2007 – Around 10 years ago I experienced a weird experience that I would be interested in knowing if anyone else has had the same experience ?

I was awoken by some lights dancing around my living room. They were like the red laser pointers going around directly above my head as I awoke. My initial thought was someone was outside with a firearm or something. I got up and approached the window. The curtains were closed. As I I opened the curtains I noticed 3 to 4 beings about 3 ft tall wearing black hooded robes. I initially thought they were children, however it was 3:00 am in the morning. I had a real scared feeling. They noticed me right away as they were standing 15ft infront of my balcony. The beings immediately darted off in all directions. I immediately ran outside to catch one of them fleeing, however there was no sign of anything or anybody. I circled the block looking and searching down the alleys but to no avail. There was an eery silence as our block has lots of dogs. I can only hope that this experience has happened to someone else.
