UFO Sighting in Hialeah, Florida on June 20th 1979 – pulsaiting sphere changing difrent colors for 10 min then took off

Well I was around 9 or 10 years old living in a 2 story apartment building were my aunt and uncle and cousin lived 3 doors down. This was the kind of place Where Every one knew each other, one evening my mother and I noticed something was going on so we went out side to see what was happening, toward the rear of the apt building were people would park their cars. We see, I would say about 15 to 20 people looking up, I remember looking at my cousin's face as I look up and see it. Their it was just over the apt building id say like 30 feet above the roof. It was round and it changed colors while making this spinning sound the exterior was like a glowing multicolor fireball it hovered for about 12 to 15 min or so then all of a sudden it made a sound as it blasted off at high speed into the atmosphere with in seconds it was no longer visible. The next day the news paper reported Homestead Air Force Base was conducting a weather experiment. It has been 35+ years and my mother and cousin and I have never forgotten this event we witnessed and I am sure the others that experienced this never forgot.
