UFO Sighting in Acton, Ontario on August 2nd 2014 – multiple formations of white dots. 5 to 7 objects each formation flying in V formation, then splitting off. Made no sound

My wife and I were about to go to bed at around 11-12 pm on a saturday night, when i was asked to get something from our vehicle in the driveway. As i was going to our truck, I noticed a v formation of 5 lights flying out of the SW above Fairy Lake moving silently toward the NE across the lake and over my house. Once they passed, I noticed another formation coming from the same direction again, but with more lights in the formation. I ran in the house and asked my wife to come out and see, to make sure i wasn't the only one witnessing this. The both of us then watched that v pattern fly over and then a 3rd one as well. During the 3rd flyover, the lights split into different groups with some heading north and another group heading to the east, the remainder keeping the same course as the previous objects. These objects made absolutely no sound, but i'm not sure of their altitude.
