48 years ago a group of Las Vegas area teenagers took a picture of a hubcap thrown in the air like a Frisbee and successfully passed it off as a UFO. “MYSTERIOUS FLYING SHIP ‘SCOUTS’ LAS VEGAS AREA” the headline of the 1967 Las Vegas Sun read. Now in their 60’s the men reminisce about the time they fooled the local media and citizens with a black-and-white Polaroid of a hubcap.
