December 25, 1985 on Forest St. in the Dawn Acres section of Leicester, MA approx.9-9:30 in the evening. Two of us were bringing a relative home and we turned the corner onto Forest Street. We stopped our vehicle in the middle of the road in absolute awe of huge light in the sky. It was not the moon or a star. It was huge and it was close. All 3 of us exited the vehicle - in the middle of the road. The neighborhood was quiet and still. Two of us ran for the house. One stayed outside and observed the craft take off in a blink at an unbelievable angle. One ran around the house shutting shades and one called the cops. We were so terrified and in shock not comprehending what we had seen. An officer responded, however the craft was gone when the officer arrived. Reporting now in case somebody else saw what I saw. I had 2 other similar sightings in that neighborhood of hovering lights. No sound, slow hovering movement. No observable craft outline - just exceedingly bright light. Not a star or the moon. Not anything I could comprehend or explain. I have used a pseudo name and would like to remain completely anonymous. This information is for your data base only. If there were other similar sightings in that neighborhood I would be interested to know.
