UFO Sighting in Eaton, Colorado on June 18th 2015 – Bright Red orb in eastern sky the that came down in east
The wife and I were in the backyard sitting at our fire pit. She noticed it first then told me to look, I didn't have my phone. The bright round silent orb/object was about 70 degrees up and drifted down to the east for about 15 to 20 seconds. I called twice for my 13 yr old daughter to come out form inside the living room, she never hear the calls until i ran to the door yelled for her to come out asap. She came out and saw the last second or two. My wife got a picture with her cell phone but was unable to get video. I'm a army vet. and it reminded me to a illumination flare but it was bigger, higher, you could stair at the center with naked eye (most flares are too bright to stare at center) and didn't illuminate the ground. When it hit the east horizon it make a thump/slap sound like hearing a full sheet of plywood hit the concrete from a distance. The sound was only delayed maybe a second. My wife heard the sound also but my daughter didn't. When it hit I thought I saw a slight smoke trail but I'm not positive on that. We took a drive east for about 10 miles but never saw any evidence of impact or fire. Size of orb was about a quarter the size of the moon.
