UFO Sighting in Little Tujunga Canyon Roa, California on March 20th 1971 – I saw and touched what looked like a landed UFO back in 1971

My date said we should go on this adventure, so he gave me directions on how to get to this "really neat sight". I drove north east off of the old Lancaster Hwy. got off onto Osborne Street that turned into Little Tujunga Canyon Road and drove exactly 7 miles upward. The drive was through a desolate road with what looked like dead trees. The road went upward on a dirt road up a small mountain. At the top was what looked like a movie prop the size of a house. It was metallic with red/green flashing lights on the outside. We parked the car and my date told me to go with him to this object. He somehow managed to climb to the top and open a hatch. He got me to take a look inside where there was a panel with many gold lights, etc. This is when I became scared and got off the object and went back to the car. I asked him to come with me, but he wanted to go into this hatch. I waited what seemed a long time til he came out and we drove off. Up to the point when I looked inside I basically thought it was a movie prop, but when I climbed on it, it felt solid and looked real inside. I never saw my date after that, but I did want to show someone else, and at the same time validate what I saw, so I asked my best friend to take the drive with me again three months later. So on 6/19/71, we drove up to the same place. The object was gone, but there was what looked like burn marks outlining where the object had been.
