UFO Sighting in Temple, Oklahoma on March 31st 1976 – The orb was hovering over the power lines on the left side of the highway. As I passed by it moved across the road direwctly above me.

I as in my car headed south on HWY 65 toward Temple. It was about 11 at night and there were no other cars on the road. I topped a hill going down to a long straight road on a flat plain with no trees around. I could see Temple off to my right about 5 miles away. As soon as I saw the orb I stopped my car and watched for a minute trying to decide what to do. It was as big as the power lines were tall and was hovering above them on the left side of the road. It was a glowing soft white orb. Since I was in the middle of nowhere I decided to floor it and even if it affected my engine I could coast on through. Not the smartest move, but that is what I did. AS I drew near the orb it moved to hover over the road. As I drove under it my car was illuminated but was not affected. I looked in my rear view mirror and it had moved over to the opposite side of the road and was just hovering. I kept right on going. And that is all there is to it. I was shook up. It stayed in the same spot until I got into town and lost sight of it.
