UFO Sighting in Monrovia, Maryland on June 8th 2015 – observed a bright orange ball of light move across the sky at high altitude with no sound

as I was outside smoking a cigarette I was looking up at the stars and noticed a ball of solid orange light overhead and thought to myself a typical satellite, but realized almost instantly satellites don't appear as big as this was or present as a bright orange color. I observed it coming in from the north-east and travel in a straight line path at a consistent speed across the sky toward the south-west. it made no sound, and didn't descend towards the horizen like a plane or satellite would it stayed high in the sky until it vanished from my view. after the incident I also noticed an almost lightened trail like formation following the same path as the object took. I know what stars look like, satalites, meteors and planes this definitley wasn't any of those. I remain puzzled at what I witnessed.
