In the summer of 1981 I lived at 14 Amsterdam Place, Mount Vernon, New York. On a hot august night this is what happen.
I had just sat my 4 year old daughter on the sofa and walked to the record player to put on a song called Nights Over Egypt by the Jones Girls. After placing the needle on the 45 record I walked to my window which faces the back of my building on the second floor. It was used for a parking lot and woods are behind the parking lot. Unbelievable i was Singing the chorus to the song "Your eyes won't believe what your mind can't concieve" and suddenly I notice a light coming from the back of the woods. It took seconds to realize what it was as the lights came closer. Three small child like beings that were pale the color of a light bulb with huge black wrap around eyes, a long bulb head, tiny nose which I'm not certain about and small mouth approached the wall that dropped into the parking lot. I froze in shock and my first thought was act like the curtain cause if I move from the window they will see me. So I stood there almost paralyze watching as they moved slowly from the 4 inch wall into the parking lot. Moving between a car they stood standing side by side and turn left to right simultaneously. Then they suddenly walked to the left side of my building. Once out of sight i panicked and rushed and called my friend Pat Brown who lived on that side of the building and told her to look out the window and check the hallway for these beings. When she came to my door to report seeing nothing I almost didn't let her in because I was afraid they were behind her forcing her to fool me to get inside my house. She said she saw nothing. The experience was a game changer spiritually. Now 58 years old i told my kids, grandkids this same story over and over and warn them to one fact I know absolute. We are not alone!
