A friend of mine and myself were sitting outside of a school in the evening. Directly in front of us was a corn field. I looked up in the sky and saw a light that looked like it could have been the sun. It got bigger as if it were getting closer. And i started breathing heavily and was slightly trembling. I looked over to see my friend staring at the sky too. The light finally stopped, moved to the left a little bit. Then shot straight up. This was the 2nd time i saw this occurnance in the same area. It was far enough above us that i couldnt see it clearly. But it was bright enough out to know that was not an aircraft. Im not sure what i saw but it was not normal. By the end my friend and i agreed not to talk about it because we were both so baffled as to what just happened. The first time this happened i was alone.
